Goods and skills
Exchange something you make or own for work someone else can do. Repairs, translation, design and lessons can all be contributions.
BENBİZ TAKAS
Need ↔ Contribution
You may have no money. You may have a contribution.

There is more than one way to meet a need.
An item, a skill or a space you can share... You can offer them on their own or together and agree on an exchange without money. Money can also be part of a mixed contribution. Solidarity contributions have no platform commission.
WHY EXCHANGE?
What you have may be what someone else needs.
You need something done but your budget is limited. You may have an unused item, a skill or a space you can offer at certain times. Someone else may need exactly that. Exchange gives you a way to find one another and agree on what each can offer.
The aim also includes putting unused resources to work, making skills visible and helping people get to know one another so they can work together again.
WHAT IT CAN INCLUDE
More than swapping two objects.
Service for service
Offer a skill and ask for help in another field. Agree together on the scope and time involved.
Use of a space
A workshop, shared kitchen or meeting room can be offered for a set period. Write down the hours, facilities and responsibilities.
Combined contributions
Goods, services and space can form one offer. Money may also be added when needed; a purchase using only money is ordinary commerce.
EVERYDAY POSSIBILITIES
What could an agreement look like?
These scenarios and AI-generated images are illustrative examples, not real listings or completed exchanges.
Product photographs in exchange for ceramics
A photographer could photograph a maker’s products and receive ceramics they choose together. Agree in advance on the number of photographs, usage rights, delivery date and the goods to be exchanged.
Workshop use in exchange for repair work
A craftsperson might need a workshop for a few hours, while the host needs stools repaired. Agree on the time, repair work and material costs together.
TERMS AND TRUST
An exchange that makes sense to both sides.
An hour of work, a product or use of a space may mean different things to different people. A reference value can help the conversation; the final terms come from an explicit agreement. No one has to accept an offer.
- What will be exchanged or done? Agree on quantity, quality and scope.
- When, where and how will handover happen? Which hours apply to a space?
- Who covers materials, transport or any agreed money contribution?
- How will you handle incomplete work, delays or changed circumstances?
You can change an offer, make a counteroffer or decline. Review the listing owner’s statements, ask the questions you need and write down the terms clearly.
Exchange and solidarity without a return.
Reciprocal exchange
Both sides agree on what they offer and receive. Goods, services, space and combined contributions can form the agreement. A 1% sustainability contribution is provided for each party on their own accepted contribution value. It is shown separately in the terms; real collection is not connected.
Solidarity contribution
Offer voluntary help without expecting something back. It creates no exchange debt; still agree on scope and time. There is no platform commission for solidarity contributions.
What does BenBiz do?
It makes needs and possible contributions visible and helps people follow the conversation through listings, offers, counteroffers and agreement records. It does not set values or decide for the parties. Publishing a listing does not mean BenBiz has verified the goods or services.
